I hear lack of ambition is considered unattractive, but what it freedom was an ambition rather than wealth. Namely freedom of time and of location.

Say a man can afford all his basic needs, and works however he does doing whatever it is -- usually not impressive work, usually just anything available that fits the criteria -- but he lives in a car or van or suv etc on purpose for van life. Likely a 20 year old beater automobile for the purpose of abusing for van life more likely than not. But as I said, no personal financial problems but a deliberate choice not to pursue riches and in exchange he has lots of free time to do whatever he wants whenever he wants to. To pursue hobbies and side gigs, more likely than not. Keep on mind, this guy is likely a rebel in not following conventions so measuring him by conventional means is largely inappropriate. In his endeavors, he is quite successful. But his goals are not the same as what most people want. So, are these goals which are different from most people ugly or not ugly?
