So I am in thr middle of the divorce, and plan to never marry again; but have been looking unto setting up various LLCs for taxes and asset protection. I plan for 3: small private plane, investments and major possessions (car, home, etc). I know a few colleagues that have done this.

You need an experienced cpa and attorney that specializes in this area. I'm getting everything set up so once divorce is final I can start creating entities and investing. Looking at incorporating in DE and WY.

So spend the money to contact the right people if you Re going to do this, it's not a DIY. I'm looking at $4k year to maintain everything. But I should more than make that up with taxes.

As mentioned you need to be religious about never mixing funds. There's a lady at work with about 8-10 different bank accounts and debit visas. She worked out a system to not mix things up. I've talked to her at length and she is saving over 70% in taxes!

Thanks for posting. I haven't watched the full clip but have been hearing similar advice. is this something that can be done after the divorce process? I'm already done with the divorce process but came out with very unfair ruling.
