Mom telling the kids: “This week we can barely afford taxes for groceries.” Or “Daddy didn’t send money this month” this was disclosed to me by the kids. I asked and how does that make you feel?
My youngest (12): To make you look bad.
My oldest (13): Yepppp
Me: Ok, im glad you guys see than, nothing else to be said and know there will always be food at the table and your needs met.
She also said “Be thankful for Mr. AP he helped with half rent and groceries.”
Disclaimer: This month I paid $2,500 + in dental copays, private school, seasonal jackets for cold, shoes, gym membership, phones, before school child care, growrh fees for school, after school snacks. CS official numbers not calculated yet. Of course they don’t get this part 😂
I wanted to e-mail her to not discuss finances with them and basically content of this post, but I see no reason to besides to document. Additionally of I reach out I feel it’ll be taken out on them thus breaking their telling me things.
Thoughts?
