Because feminism demands that a woman's body, choices and actions are a man's responsibility. Woman gets pregnant? Man's fault. Woman abuses boyfriend/husband? Man's fault. Mum abuses children? Dad's fault. Female politicians being the majority voters in the overturning of Roe v Wade (even though American women still have more autonomy and rights regarding their bodies either way than men)? You guessed correctly, man's fault

There are actual deadbeat dads out there, but the label is applied to far, far too many men, and oxymoronically (or just moronically) to men trying to be in their kids lives and support them.

Nope. If the father made his stance known from the beginning, they aren’t a deadbeat. A deadbeat in my opinion is someone who lies and says they want the baby and then skips out or something.

No that's not a deadbeat dad. That's at most an absent father. If he's willing to provide for the child, but not be a part of its life then that's just absent, but financially responsible.
