When the dust settles will we restore the people destroyed by feminism do you think? Probably not, they'll just be lost.
Edit: There's a story about a rich kid that got several millions after a court case where he was falsely accused. Must be nice surviving then thriving like that. The poors will just have to keep on I guess.

Some of these women are so ready to see it through the lens of Men vs Women, they can't understand any other way of looking at things. This story wasn't about men vs women.
This guy was literally telling a story about you reap what you sow and if you attack someone get ready to get attacked and suddenly all the feminists came out of the bushes calling him a heartless man for daring to retaliate against a woman who had made fun of her

The urge men get to humble women is beyond obsessive and weird.
Says the gender that mocks mens penis size whenever they get a chance. “What do you need a gun for huh your dick is not big enough?”…”Wow really nice car, compensating for something”

Look. It's so fucking easy. These fucking kidult little baby girls need to grow the fuuuuUUUUuuuck up and take off their little swirly princess eye glasses or whatever the fuck keeps them blind to "I was mocked by a woman for no reason and I asked her questions till she cried.".
[–]cedal_lito 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is equality, attack, get attacked. Her crying was a way for her to victimize herself, though. She wasn't "helpless in defeat". Because of it the guy might have received some punishment.

You have to love the shuffle.
Are you a strong independent woman who should be treated like a MAN? and be able to play a Man's game?
Or
Are you weak and frail and should be protected by the big strong men?
Pick one! but you have to be consistent.
[–]TheMorningJoe 7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I wouldn’t say it’s obsessive, but it is needed more nowadays. Society gasses women too much, none of them are nearly the Disney princesses they think they are.

She criticized his presentation, and he spent four days trying to figure out how to completely humiliate her in public. I mean, I don’t know what she said, and maybe it was truly awful. But from the facts presented, this guy comes off like a demented loser. He’d have been better off spending those four days figuring out how to give a kick-ass presentation.
[–]3l-d1abl0 23 points24 points25 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
She 'MOCKED' his presentation. Something he might have worked hard for! And might have been a kickass presentation!
[+]Epiphanic_Eros -7 points-6 points-5 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Absolutely! Assuming he's speaking accurately and not exaggerating her mere criticisms of his presentation, her behavior deserves criticism. And if her ridicule were the end of the story, it might be an example of how not to treat people.
But then our man goes on a four day bender of planning for vengeance. He thinks out how he can hurt her, does research to learn her subject, then studies it in such a way to maximize her pain. The whole thing is utterly depressing, frankly kind of scary, and exactly the sort of thing that the worst sort of the feminists generalize to all men. Definitely not an appropriate response
[–]cpuchy12[S] 14 points15 points16 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
Still doesn't change the fact this feminist portrayed it as a gendered issue, for no valid reason. Women start petty drama with each other (especially female friends) all the time, but no one holds them accountable. It's always men's fault!
[–]incorrect_bones -4 points-3 points-2 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
I do not agree with the screenshot in the post in any way, but genuine question:
Aren't you also making it a gendered issue by claiming that ALL women start petty drama, are never held accountable, and blame men for everything.
We could take the post for what it is, a person with a bad take on something that represents a theme of chronically online people. Let's deconstruct her statement and criticize it for what it is. Turning back around in the opposite direction doesn't do anything constructive either. Saying oh I don't like that this post said that all men do this so I'm gonna turn around and say that all women do this is hypocritical. At this rate we'll just keep going in circles without actually accomplishing any kind of change.
I have never been involved in 'petty female drama' in my life, I have always been accountable and responsible for my own actions words and experiences, and I do not believe every negative aspect of my life 'men's fault' and I've never met a single woman in my life specifically who meets any of the criteria you listed. I understand that everyone's experiences and perspectives differ, so this is coming from a place of good faith and expansion/ discussion
[–]cpuchy12[S] 10 points11 points12 points 3 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Clarification: I believe that feminists almost exclusively blame men for women's issues. For instance, OP was labeled "beyond obsessive and weird" because of his actions, despite the woman at his university mocking him first.
"The urge men get to humble women..." -- this is not a gendered issue.
"Ladies be careful...[men's] thoughts on you are mostly never pure."
Just to be clear, NOT ALL women start petty drama. But have you seen dramatic women held to such a ridiculously high standard of accountability? Or receive such harsh criticism? My overall point is regarding feminist hypocrisy.
[–]incorrect_bones -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Ok I can get more on board with that.
But have you seen dramatic women held to such a ridiculously high standard of accountability?
I personally have just never seen or encountered these particularly dramatic women. Not saying they aren't there or that the phenomenon doesn't exist, just that it's not particularly prevalent in my life.
[–]cpuchy12[S] 5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Glad you understand. I shared this bad Twitter take to prove the absurdity of feminists portraying something trivial, like petty drama, as a gendered issue supposedly rooted in misogyny!
It aims to label men as being weird, obsessive, and impure in their attempts to humble women. But hypothetically, I doubt this criticism would apply if the roles were reversed.
[+]Epiphanic_Eros -5 points-4 points-3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I don't know, I personally hold women responsible for things all the time. And everybody around me does that, too. Guys talk over everyone and put down presenters, all the time. And they should be criticized for that. And it's just as wrong if a woman is insulting or ridiculing some guy who's doing his best to give a good presentation, even if he's not doing a good job of it.
If she's just giving negative feedback, and not great at it, then she might just need to improve her feedback-giving-skills. But if she's intentionally trying to hurt him (unlikely, but not impossible), that's awful.
So maybe she went absurdly out of her way to repeatedly, publicly ridicule our man. But if it's anything much less than that, as the guys description suggests, then his response is kind of terrifying. The amount of thought and effort that this guy is expending to humiliate a girl who made fun of him once! And the almost certain disproportionality of his vengeance! He basically cheated and studied her subject so that he could hit her with gotcha questions over and over. It's basically like sitting there throughout her presentation and repeatedly asking her, "excuse me, but why are you so stupid?" That is not a response that should be lauded.
[–]DarthTreason 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Lol quite with your self righteous nonsense, he can act as he pleases
[–]Revolutionary_Town21 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link
And she should have spent the 4 days to better prepare her "own" presentation rather than mocking other people
[+]Epiphanic_Eros 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
I mean, she probably spent 8 seconds "mocking" his presentation. A proportional response would have been justified, perhaps.
[–]AffectionateRun5053 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
You don't get to decide what the appropriate response is for someone else's insult... if thats not how you would handle it fine but it doesn't make him wrong because you personally dont like it
[+]Epiphanic_Eros 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
I sure do get to decide whether his response was appropriate or not! And I also get to argue for why my judgment is the best one. Just like you do.
If you think this kind of response is appropriate, or that it's good for anyone, it's no surprise that you're so mad at feminists. Imagine if every time a man talked down to a woman while she was doing a presentation, she spent days planning and executing an elaborate revenge plot that left the guy publicly humiliated and crying in front of everyone. You'd say she was a crazy b*tch. And you'd be right!
[–]Revolutionary_Town21 4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
"my argument is the best one" 🤣🤣🤣
And no, she won't be a crazy bitch. If a man can't answer on the stuff he is making presentation about, he's an idiot.
Feminist live in their own paradise which has no connection to reality
[+]Epiphanic_Eros 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
"if a man can't answer on the stuff he is making presentation about, he's an idiot," would be true if it were normal questions that one might expect to arise in the expected audience. But literally any presentation can be thrown off by a bad-faith questioner who has substantial subject matter expertise. And if the presenter is not a subject matter expert, then one can just research all kinds of super obscure, weird details that aren't particularly relevant to the larger presentation.
[–]AffectionateRun5053 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]Langland88 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Maybe but in a sense he taught her a lesson in humility as well. She openly mocked his presentation and gave him a hard time. Sure maybe he could have let it go but I think what he did was equally fair. He researched the topic at hand that this girl was about to do a presentation on, and had enough knowledge of the situation to give her a run for her money. She couldn't handle it and that's all on her. If she had every right to criticize this dude on his presentation, therefore he had every right to do the same. Isn't that what TRUE equality is all about?
[+]CastanhasDoPara -3 points-2 points-1 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
You can tell all of that just from this screen capped tweet? Amazing!
In reality though he probably just made her think that he's kind of a thin skinned, revenge-obsessed, weirdo. And maybe tainted her view of other males in the process. A lot of people around here seem to be unable to handle criticism of any kind, especially from women.
