Making Progress: My office actually recognized International Men's Day (Nov-19) this year

Where I worked the HR Dept. every year would send out an announcement about women’s day and I would in turn, send the HR leader (a woman, of course) an email reminding her of the date for Int’l Men’s Day. Never was it celebrated. Just saying…….. 🧐☹️

I am pretty sure HR would reprimand me if I even mentioned it being men’s day.

In UK we call it MOVEMBER and we get to grow a moustache to bring awareness to male prostate cancer and mental health problems. But I swear to you, no one really talks about it at my work place. There was one email and that's it. But on women's international day, they wouldn't shut up about it the whole day
