First off this guy is a dipshit for trying to deep fry a turkey on a gas stove. But it is interesting how she berates him. Saying she’s going to kill him?? Like really could you imagine if he would have said this to her??

I am deep frying a turkey for probably the 7th time in the last decade.

Going to be nice not having to spend the entire day listening to my in laws BIL and her babble on about the same stories every god damn holiday. Christmas should be even better.

Towards the end of the relationship over the last couple of years, I pretty much get up from the dinner table and just go read the paper in the living room or watch TV while or start cleaning up.they would talk about memories from the past, and I have absolutely no idea who most of these people even are, and honestly couldn’t care less about them.

Then when would get home I would get the “I can’t believe you are so rude. Would it really hurt you to just sit at the table have coffee with everyone and be social”

Umm after 17 years of being together and hosting or going to a minimum of 4/5 major holidays every year (Xmas, Easter, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and the occasional New Years Day)

That’s like 80 times of having to hear the same old story again and again and again and again.

I don’t know, my rant is over.
