Friday at noon I stopped off at my attorney's office, paid the retainer fee, double checked the paperwork and told them to file for divorce.

I still haven't been served anything and she wants out,she continues to claim our daughters don't want joint 50/50 custody but when I ask them directly I don’t get the same response. now she says I need to be out of the house by August so we can sell???????

She thinks she’s entitled to access to my personal checking account that I have setup specifically to start moving on with the divorce and getting my stuff on track because we both have access to our joint account.

How crazy is that. Also I decided I am staying in the basement from now on. Sleeping in our bedroom and waking up every morning alone is depressing as hell.

I am going from a sleep number bed that we paid thousands for to an air mattress and accessories from camping but guess what?? The last two nights down here have been easily the best rest in almost 2 months.

I'm done playing games with her and how things seem to change on a day by day basis with her.

Found a pretty nice apartment but until I discuss more with my attorney on next steps not doing anything.

This is my Independence Day.
