The OCR (the agency hearing the complaint) is of course the same department that is forcing schools to deny accused college men due process.

There was a similar case against Yale that the OCR rejected on ridiculous grounds. As I understand it the OCR essentially said it doesn’t consider female only venues, spaces and programs discriminatory unless the reporting party can document men tried to use these resources and were refused. It’s like saying a no blacks allowed venue isn’t racist unless it can be proved blacks were actually kicked out.

I’m betting this either goes nowhere or any ruling by the OCR is minor resulting in no or little action against Stanford. That’s par for the course.

In fact these cases have been very successful because they are blatant sexual discrimination. The problem is finding people in academics willing to lose their careers to stop this discrimination against boys and men.

Men accused of sexual assault are winning more civil suits, but I haven’t seen the OCR ruling against women only spaces and programs.

Check the NCFM.org website. They have been involved in many removals of women only scholarships and programs that discriminate against men. There was a recent post about a feminist author that was very concerned and admitted these programs are illegal under the sex discrimination act and addressed by title IX.

Women’s Scholarships And Programs Became Illegal
Title IX hasn’t only changed the gender makeup of college coaching, but it has recently also hindered programs aimed at attracting women into STEM fields. Women are typically underrepresented in high-paying fields like engineering or computer science, so many universities offer special scholarships or programs to attract women into these fields.
For the same reasons that universities can’t offer sports to men only under Title IX, they can’t offer awards or programs solely for women. So programs aimed at helping women are being called out as discriminatory against men. As a result, the Department of Education is investigating and shuttering not just women’s scholarships and awards at universities but leadership programs and even gym hours reserved for women as well. These programs discriminate against men according to Title IX.

Good, honestly this is the most justice I’ve seen for men in a while. Its become such a normal thing to walk over the corpses of men that at this point people don’t mind doing it barefoot. The fact that Forbes calls it the “downside for woman” and not a “win for equality” is very telling.

This is great. I believe it was already posted but needs attention!

Just one of many organisations…

[–]AirSailer 2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

On the positive side, the organizations allow women to develop support networks and discuss potentially sensitive problems that may be unique to women. Engaging with other women may also lead to a greater sense of belonging in the field, and funding targeted at women can help increase female representation in areas where women are traditionally underrepresented.

I guess men don't have their own problems nor do they need support networks. /s
