The only objection I had was when you said the thing about male CEOs naturally making work environments which are beneficial to men (this was how I heard it, if I am mistaken please correct me). I don't believe this is remotely true. CEOs class interests align with the capitalist class and therefore what they do is make the business as profitable as possible at the expense of the worker.

They've overworked, under paid and under appreciated male employees for generations just as they do with female employees. I don't see any support from male CEOs for any male issues either. I'm not convinced female CEOs would do any better for female workers.

There are legitimate women's issues which aren't shared with men (being overworked and having no access to childcare and affects both parties even if people don't recognise that this is upsetting for men) such as understanding that some women's periods come with a level of pain which is very disruptive to their ability to work. I am speculating but it wouldn't surprise me if both male and female CEOs have brought in cheap placating practices like acknowledging international women's day but don't provide sanitary products for women or allow flexibility where possible to accommodate their difficulties with female specific health issues.

I also think it's simply unhelpful to aim for equal numbers in every profession and job role, not that you advocated this but I think it's where the line of thinking generally leads.

What I personally think is necessary is for employers to be made aware of and pressured to cater to the needs of all their employees. You have one female employee? Well you should be providing sanitary products for her, I don't care if she's the only one.

Perhaps it's unfair to pick on one relatively small comment but I think we need to be extremely careful in this conversation.
