Just wondering what men think of dating women that is completely out of body type taste if she compensates with other traits. I’m sure everyone here had a life situation where you’ve met a girl that is fun, great personality, you click together, kind soul but you just can’t imagine sleeping with her. She shows you pictures just a year or two ago when she was on the skinner side (or chubbier side, if that’s what you prefer) and you’re disappointed because you know that getting turned on will be a huge problem. I know some people can get past that, for others sex is a much bigger deal, I’m generally looking for opinions.
When I was much younger, I made a big mistake of trying to “change” one of the first girls I was dating by paying for her GYM, fitness trainer and pressured her to go - but please do note that she initiated with the idea first. In the end, she barely went, stopped going completely after 2 weeks, my attraction to her was a 4/10 at the best and sex life was not good. I look back at this experience and realize that I’ll never be making exceptions again, neither will I try to “push” someone in the direction that I want her to be. Physical attraction is one of the first things I look at now unfortunately, although it does make me feel superficial at times.
