School committee attempts to disqualify a man for a female candidate. She turns out to be a bigot. Hilarity ensues.

Keep in mind, he did nothing wrong other than advocate for himself and his art. This is what feminists want. Complete control.

Next they’ll use AI to make predictions about your likelihood to commit crimes and then arrest you before it happens. Progress!

They already have a blueprint... What's that movie with Tom Cruise in it?

"You seem to frequently forget leaving an upvote on all of the female redditors' male genocide promotion posts. This appears to be an indicator of rapey misoginystic incel behaviour leading to homicidal tendencies. The system will now automatically assign you a therapist and antipsychotic medications needed for behaviour adjustment. Beep beep, I'm a robot"

They already do this (the project has been active for years now) in the Netherlands.

Can confirm: when I infiltrated the Feminism HQ, they have AI-driven kiosks everywhere for the men that do the maintenance and clean all floors there.

Just a friendly reminder...

Never talk to cops.

[–]Divine_ruler 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Do they’re trying to put people in a database based on info that indicates potential danger? Is this just everyone goes in it or only after the questions are asked they get recorded?

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 25 points26 points27 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Just the men, i'd bet.

Having a database of women who owned firearms might harm women!

[–]vaaralinen 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Let's also remember that putting female criminals in jails is a violation of women's rights by Da Patriarchy

I’m sure they’ll ask these questions of a male in a suspected domestic abuse case. Not just the women.

[–]phoenixthekat 9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What happens if I refuse to answer these 11 questions? They couldn't compell me to answer them.

"The Senate bill also includes provisions to create a law enforcement database for responses to the lethality screenings so officers can access information on prior lethality assessments conducted by any department statewide to better understand and protect victims. Weiler said the database wouldn’t be publicly accessible to ensure it didn’t violate the due process of people investigated yet not convicted of any crimes."

what a load of bullshit

Putting aside the propensity of users of proxy violence to lie on this very subjective assessment, it's ripe for abuse.

Cataloguing gun owners, and directly linking that ownership to an "assessment of lethality" by biased cops, informed by an angry lover. I couldn't imagine a worse setup to incentivize made up bullshit get people arrested and harassed.

Since Petito was the violent one according to the police would she have been the one in the database?

[–]onlyidiotsgoonreddit 21 points22 points23 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

That would make way more sense. Data shows that nearly all domestic violence is initiated by women. Even though men sometimes retaliate against violent women, they almost never initiate violence. So a far more reliable index would be to assess the female party. Because Petito would have turned violent against any male partner that was committed to her, it was just a question of which partners would f ally snap and retaliate. If the officers had followed the letter of the law and policy, Petito would have been arrested and a standard restraining order would have protected her boyfriend. After that, he would not have faced more violence, so of course, he would not have snapped and killed her.

The boyfriend exceeded the limits of self defense, in that case, and the killing was unjustified. But the fact remains that the killing could have been prevented, if they had merely followed the law, rather than issue a pussy pass to Petito, when they learned she had already committed multiple crimes.

This.

And don’t forget a side order of convincing him that he was really the one who started it.

[–]neosharkey 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The Lt Governor should push for divorce reform. I wonder how many incidents happen because the man can’t leave a bad situation because it will financially ruin him, then one day he snaps.

As a man this is great. Women are extremely emotional and psychotic. This will bite them in the ass so hard.

those in the assessment are designed to screen for risk and are based on
statistical data that draws correlations between certain behaviours and
danger to potential victims’ lives,

thats the problem right there.

statistical data, which we all know has been corrupted by bias, unverified by peer review and provided by parties with an agenda. The database will be hidden from the public since scrutiny will demonstrate its bias, and its lack of data protection legal compliance( eg holding false data). all it takes is a lawyer to pull this apart in a trial( but by then the damage has been done)

if you want a good example of the bias for the database will have, look at chatgpt....

... and AP used the petitio case.. an own goal in the lack of critical thinking by AP.

I didn't see in the article that this was only going to apply to men. Did I miss it somewhere?

[–]Whole-Wishbone-7539[S] 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The one arrest per DV model wasn't meant to either but you can see where that went.

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 17 points18 points19 points 3 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

We all know who this is going to be applied to

[+]PurpleJade_3131 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

They will investigate all cases, but it will end up mostly be men because it is proven that the majority of violence is committed by men. Just makes sense.

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

it's a known fact that women are investigated less, and when investigated arrested less, and when arrested charged less, and when charged convicted less, and when convicted given far lighter sentences with a greater disparity than race, all for the same crime.

[+]PurpleJade_3131 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yes, men have to change how they do this for sure! Patriarchy, again hurting everyone!

“It’s not pro-woman bias on the part of female judges that causes this, it’s the paternalism of male judges”

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago* (4 children) | Copy Link

Patriarchy is a made up version of catholic's Original Sin that blames all men for the problems of society, and absolves women of accountability.

We don't tolerate that gaslighting bullshit here, women are as responsible for this as anybody, and in many cases more so.

And feminism is an anti-male hate group that does really braindead stupid shit like "re-framing" sexism against men like this as "paternalist" sexism against women. That's absolutely retarded thinking.

[+]PurpleJade_3131 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Patriarchy does not blame men, nor feminism. This is not gaslighting, it’s facts. You see things that dont exist

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

It is the opposite of facts, it is gaslighting, it does blame men, and i see things perfectly clearly, you're the one with your head up your ass defending a supremacist organization and their ideas

[+]PurpleJade_3131 -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I’d love you to point out in the definition of feminism where it says it blames men

[–]Amazing-Bit6140 1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The idea of a patriarchy itself blames men

The implication that men in positions of power preference men in sexist ways in the same way women in positions of power do isn't true, and blames men

The entire idea that women are somehow more oppressed than the class of men in general is wrong, counter to objective reality, and blames men.

[–]BCRE8TVE -1 points0 points1 point 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

They include questions about prior threats, access to firearms and a history of behavior such as choking, jealousy or spying.

I agree with the firearms correlation, having firearms makes any conflict more likely to escalate.

That being said it's hilarious that jealousy and spying are likely far far far more frequent in women than in men, but betcha they'll never take those as equally dangerous as when men do it.

The choking bit is hilarious too, like don't get me wrong domestic violence where a man chokes a woman is a serious issue, but unilateral domestic violence is like 20% of all DV, 50% is reciproval DV.

Asking about choking is likely going to bring to light an uncomfortable number of women who asked to be choked in the bedroom... Unfortunately that can just be used as more ammo against men.

Utah lawmakers said the learning about the correlation between choking and later death was particularly striking in light of a murder-suicide in Enoch, Utah, earlier this month, where a father killed his wife, five children and mother-in-law several years after one of his daughters told officers conducting a child abuse investigation that he had once choked her.

Yeah, once isn't a correlation, it's a coincidence, and making judgements on men as a whole based on the one coincidence is a terrible way to make policy. I'd say it's pretty damn sexist too, but we know you can't be sexist against men.

/s

Lt. Gov. Deidre Henderson, whose cousin was shot and killed by her ex-husband last year, said 22% of homicides in Utah were intimate partner-related and that the majority of suspects had prior interaction with law enforcement.

“With this bill, we are trying to very narrowly target the biggest problem we have right now in the state with intimate partner violence,” she said. “That’s to prevent intimate partner homicide."

I am all for reducing intimate partner violence and intimate partner homicide. However if you ignore the fact that most of the highly controlling abusive behaviour is mostly done by women to men, that women are more likely to incite domestic violence than men, that women commit more unilateral domestic violence than men, and that women have help and shelters to escape to before they result to murder suicide, then you're going to COMPLETELY miss half the issues, and are only likely to come down harder on the one side that would make things worse for everyone.

So yeah, once again, men can't be victims, so the solution must be to target and punish men more as a whole.

The Senate bill also includes provisions to create a law enforcement database for responses to the lethality screenings so officers can access information on prior lethality assessments conducted by any department statewide to better understand and protect victims. Weiler said the database wouldn’t be publicly accessible to ensure it didn’t violate the due process of people investigated yet not convicted of any crimes.

To better protect "Victims" read women. Again, men aren't allowed to be victims.

More of the same I see. Fucking great to have all this male privilege I tell you.
