My high school had a fairly elaborate prom where they would load everyone on a bus and drive about an hour to the closest large city since our podunk hometown and county had just about nothing in it. If a girl couldn't get a date they had a couple of older gay guys who would take the girls. If you were a dude you were just SOL. We had a situation develop that left a number of girls without their date on prom night, and they were encouraged to pair up with some of the guys going without dates. Waterworks ensued and the prom was rescheduled last minute. Even back then I felt bad for those guys, cause that was a double kick in the nuts.

This ones just now finding out how what those guys had to endure ... surprise surprise, she doesn't like it.

She is absolutely ignorant and tone-deaf about life and her situation sadly. She flips flops in her own statement like a drunk driver weaving down the road: “Most of the time it doesn't bother me, and I've learned to become very comfortable with my own company.” Ok so what’s the problem then? You don’t need no man right? Get some hobbies.

I’ll assume that like most women who finally start realizing this shit, she’s probably in her late 20s/early 30s.

She had her chance to get married plenty of times during her 20s. As always, there were likely plenty of men who came along that would have married her but they’re weren’t Turbochad so off to the friendzone they went. Besides, girls nights out, random hookups, traveling, and career were the most important things.

Granted, she’ll have no problem getting dick, even well into her 40s and even 50s. But women don’t really care about that. Her chances of having a fulfilling relationship/marriage are dwindling down to zero. Hope she enjoys the cats.
