I've been hooked on porn since I was 12.

In the last 2 weeks I stopped. I've looked a few times, even jerked a few times, but I catch myself, stop and move on. Meditate or go outside.

I feel different. My dick feels different. I am aroused more easily and slip into caveman animal mode more naturally. The world I see is full of opportunities - instead of before where I would see only an endless grind without meaning. There is a warmth in my chest and a spring in my step. Even when I'm alone and there's not much going on, I just feel "ok". Like it will all work out.

Ymmv. I also lift, train BJJ, have multiple plates to dump the excess sexual energy into and a decent social life. Porn was really one of the last major knots to untie but damn if it didn't give me a boost.

I just gave up porn and started doing it the old fashion way. What was 5 minutes 20 times a week to porn is now a 25 minute affair that I only partake in every few days. Much more energy and I stopped being focused on having sex at every minute of the day.

Sex drive is way down since nofap - you basically cut down on fantasizing about women, and so women actually become less attractive to you.

Not always a good thing.
