No it hasn't. Hospitals still support and underhandedly suggest circumcision. The doctors and nurses didn't check with me to see how I felt about it before trying to talk my wife into it when my son was born. I researched it and was appalled by the origin of the practice in the U.S., since there should not be a religious requirement or influence b/c Christianity in Europe does not require circumcision.

Then I found out how the procedure is commonly done without anesthesia. WTF!! There are things call skin bridges and other fairly frequent issues with the wound healing. Tens of thousands of nerves are severed, the frenulum is frequently ripped off. The skin at the head of penis grows thicker and reduces in sensitivity. Circumcised males masturbate less frequently because they don't feel as much from the experience. Sometimes the procedure is botched and the poor boy grows up without a functional penis!! What kind of sick fucks would perform this procedure on a massive scale for a non medical reason?

I'm appalled with the apathy or even chagrin when the MGM subject is brought up. FGM has been banned in the western world, great! Can we start looking at protecting boys now?
