Going into STEM studies means long hours, hard work, and the only way to get respect is to earn it. Or go into gender studies where you are coddled, any random essay with the right keywords is considered a great academic achievement, and you are told you are entitled to respect for just putting up with things you don't like. Is it that surprising so many people choose the latter?

A recent study by The University of Texas at Austin has found that young women don’t avoid so-called STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) majors and professions for lack of math and science skills. Rather, they are choosing other disciplines in spite of their skills in these traditionally masculine fields.

My god. This means that the Patriarchy is run by women.

It's all so clear now. This explains why decades of feminists have been unable to destroy the patriarchy . . . they are the patriarchy!!!!!!!!!!!

The only way to destroy the patriarchy is for some non-women (men I guess) to eliminate the source of women's oppression (apparently women making choices for themselves). It's time for some sort of male-tatorship where men make decisions for women because women thinking for themselves is oppressive.
