My son was born two weeks ago, and like me was circumcised. Not because of "reasons" but because like me, he was born with a partially retracted foreskin due to an epidermis bridge (think cleft lip). This would have likely lead to complications in retraction of the foreskin later in life, as well as a "different" looking penis. Correcting this with a circumcision makes it like there was never even a problem.

When the day comes, i'll explain to him that my traits passed down a complication. Hopefully he can life a full and happy life (including a sex life) without being ostracized by people like you.

(Edit:) By all means, protest for your beliefs, I support that 100%. You might want to change up your tactics though. Being demeaning doesnt earn followers, but it does make you look like an asshole.

You've had 50% of your mobile penile skin amputated. Sure it's not going to make any difference LOL. Say goodbye to 15 sq inches of flesh? No problem! Take a read here:

So your mother paid some quack doctor $500 dollars to amputate the most sensitive part of your penis and throw it in the hospital trash can - all so that when you were old and infirm you would be easier to clean... eh?

And did you mum cut off babies' lips as well so their teeth would be easier to clean when they were in a wheelchair? And little girls' buttocks so their arses would be easier to wipe when they were bed-ridden at 85? How about cutting off bits of infant girls' labia lips? They get a bit smelly don't they?

Of course over in Sweden, where almost no one has their genitals mutilated, there are thousands of men aged 75 plus dying in hospitals from "infected" penisis. NOT!

Keep believing the fairy stories if it makes you feel better.

You sound like a guy with a mutilated penis who now hates his mother over such a minuscule thing. But hey whatever man, I can't miss something I never experienced, no point of being upset about it, just move on, 1 day old me didn't have a say in it, I can be mad at the world because I am missing apparently 50% of the skin on my penis that moves. I still got 50%, better than none I suppose.

No that wasn't the sole reason, religious reasons at the time, but an added benefit that I can't complain about really. Truthfuly those comparisons are a bit ridiculous, but if that's how you want to look at it feel free, not everyone is going to cry about the lose of a 15 sq inches of skin, I mean it still runs properly so I'm not worried.

I didn't say they automatically died of infected penis foreskin, but an unattended to infection of any kind could cause death. However unlikely it is it is still possible.

Instead of linking me to the site the has random facts, please find a reliable article that says this, something written and reviewed by doctors. This is the equivalent of seeing a tv commercial for toothpaste when they say that 3/4 doctors say this is the brand to use. What doctors, where is the evidence that says this, how reliable are they, you know the important stuff. And a whole 3/8", if that wouldn't have impressed the ladies I don't know what would have.

Ya religious reasons, to her "sky-god" apparently, I mean I guess to someone like you religious people are all fools. I mean it's not like she isn't a fucking nurse and took a wild guess at what circumcision was because it was in the the sky god book. I don't have a problem with it, you apparently have been very hurt by it though, so sorry if there was a mistake and they chopped half of your dick off or something, quite unfortunate, but like I said, everything is running smoothly so I don't hate her for doing it nor am I mad, and if that is in your religious beliefs so be it, I don't hate anyone who does or doesn't do it, personal beliefs and choice that you can not change.

Illogical fallacies? Dude I asked for cold hard facts, received none, I did however compare it to something very very loosely related and I won't deny that.

"Brb, my mom is a nurse so therefore it's completely okay to force a permanent procedure on her child's genitals because some supposed "man in the sky" also agrees with it. Oh, and it's also okay for future moms to force it on their children because I'm okay with it."

Well I am glad you know have fully understood what I said but in complete mockery. I never said what she did was a good thing, or a bad thing, all I said was that I didn't hate her because of her beliefs in doing so. The nurse and "man in the sky", man what is up with you atheists and sky people by the way, fucking weird, anyways they have nothing to do with each other. She was religious, had it done for religious purposes, she is also a nurse who realizes what can happen with or without foreskin, complications of the such either way.

And then I never said I would tell someone to do it, I just said I don't hate people who do it, it's their religious beliefs, whether I agree with them or not is another thing, but whether they should have the right to choose what they believe is best for their child is not a decision for me and you to make, but for them, hopefully they will look into it more than just reading a passage out of the bible, but if not so be it.

And on a completely random side note, you realize when you downvote someone there is no need to declare it in your comment, I mean it's pretty obvious.
