Typical though. the article made a point of vilifying the victim of her crime. Don't get me wrong, this is not in any way excusing the crimes to which he may have committed, but in all honesty, they had no relevance whatsoever to this story other than to offer up mitigation for her action. "Yeah she stabbed a toddler in order to frame this guy but come on, he's a "sex offender"! He obviously needs to be framed for every crime".

Wilson is a sex offender and has a warrant for his arrest for failing to register that dates to 2008, according to court records.

Is that relevant to the story at all?

why are they mentioning a sex offender and his name/info who had nothing to do with this?
why isn't she getting done for attempted murder on a child? (for you know, stabbing her son.)

Is it just me, or does the media always make sure they say "allegedly" when they're talking about crimes women have committed, but don't bother giving the same courtesy to men? Soon as they hear about it, they assume the man is guilty and just run with it.
