Well, I would want to see what opportunities for women in terms of the workforce in India are. Chances are, not very much. India is still very entrenched in a traditional culture with men being the primary breadwinner by far. The fact that only wife can lay claim on husband's property is really a non-issue: most wives have no property of their own. However, in more progressive areas of India, I would see this law becoming a problem.

I would agree with the MRA movement revealing this if it was placed in the West, or even in China, where women have similar chances to men in terms of earning income, but let's not dismiss the culture of India before claiming that this law is unfair.
