You can see Filipovic opposing a San Francisco law that prohibits medically unnecessary infant genital mutilation here. Her only justification for opposing the law is that it might take attention away from female genital mutilation, which she thinks is worse:

For the record, I'm not in favor of this law ... I don't think that male circumcision is at all comparable to many forms of FGM ...

Filipovic gives no other reason for opposing the law, except that it is not as bad as female genital mutilation.

For the record, Filipovic is correct that "gay conversion therapy" if for quacks and religions nuts. However, her feminist religion is far more damaging, and based on far less evidence, than any of the other popular religions that she loves to attack.

I find it appalling how often I see feminists who not only do not oppose male circumcision, but actively promote it. When it is done to them, it is a monstrous barbaric act. Not so much when it is done to those other sub-humans.
