What should feminists do about rape? This was the topic of a thread on another site that is neither a feminist site, nor an equal rights site, but nonetheless it has an overwhelming feminist bias.
This is what I wrote, and surprise, surprise, as a result of typical feminist anti-intellectualism tactics I was banned for writing this response...
What should feminists do about rape? A good place for feminists to start would be learning not to rape. For example, below is an example of two female feminists joking about rape on xxx.
Quotes by the Rapist XXXXX
“Yes, I usually do penis checks before deciding to sleep with someone.”
“Then you might end up wasting your time getting to know them only to find out you don't want to have sex with them.”
“I have heard good things about French men. I had one French roommate when I was in Japan and she told me about how French guys always have good sized, straight dicks, unlike other nationalities which often have small or crooked dicks. And another roommate (Australian) told me that French guys have nice ones. She banged our male French roommate.”
Quotes by the rape apologist XXXXXX in response to the rapist XXXXX
“Although there's certainly individual preference I would say the general trend is big is a bonus.
Of course its not nearly as "on display" as boobs so most of the time its not a deciding factor and just a surprise once the clothes come off.
Unless you're xxxxx and do "penis-checks"... hehe”
Another thing feminists could do is work for equality for both men and women, not just working for privilege where feminists perceive there is inequality while maintaining the privileges women have always enjoyed. For example, as a result of female privilege and matriarchy, I doubt the rapist XXXXX realizes she’s a rapist, and I doubt the rape apologist XXXX thinks XXXX is a rapist either. But imagine if a man forced his hand down a woman’s pants to fondle her genitals without her consent. You’re damn right it would be considered rape!
Another thing feminists could do is work for equality in the justice system, and by equality I don’t mean the feminist definition of equality i.e. working for privilege where feminists perceive there is inequality, while maintaining the privileges women have always enjoyed. I mean actual equality, like the definition of equality. For example, a man arrested for a crime spends 63% more time in prison, than a woman arrested for the same crime. If Feminists want to do something about rape, maybe they should work to change this inequality. Maybe fewer women would rape if they were actually held accountable for their actions. Another area feminists could work for equality is they could work to make a law in which everyone who’s found guilty of making a false rape allegations would be required to register as a sex offender, just as any other dangerous sexual predator is required to register as a sex offender.
