I'm currently training in a callcenter, and today food was brought in for the class. The problem was, there wasn't much selection, and the guy who brought it in stipulated "ladies first".

So I fairly loudly said "well that's sexist." Which got a huge laugh that was depressing. Anyway, after the ladies chose all the good stuff was gone, leaving guys with the scraps.

No big deal, its just food.

We go on break and I'm out smoking with some classmates and mention it and immediately get told "you don't know the fear of being a woman."

I say "fair enough, but its not like men don't have just cause to be worried about things, and I guarantee you if you go into hr and say I grabbed your breasts, unless I have camera footage proving I don't, I'd be fired immediately on your word alone."

She seems to consider it, and then no joke within two minutes goes on to talk about how she often gets deals on rent, merchandise, etc because she has large breasts and says "its awesome being a woman".

If this behavior continues (favoritism towards women, discussion of men being privileged, etc) is it worth it to complain or should I just knuckle under?
