An example of how psychological damage can be caused by trauma that you have no conscious memory of. "He won't rdmember it" was always an absurd argument, but takes some skill and evidence of lasting mental damage to counter.

Pain response was measured by monitoring the infants behaviour, inclucing facial expression and duration of crying.

You can't measure "facial expression" or "behaviour" objectivly so this can very well be pretty big bullshit if it wasn't done right.

If the testers new which baby was circumcised for example they would bring in their own opinion on circumcision and subconciously distort the results.

As long as i haven't seen the methodology i don't believe one bit of this. it's very plausable and i'm against circumcision too but i have seen enough poorly done studies already.

Adequate pain relief may prevent these changes. Therefore, every measure should be taken to prevent pain in circumcision and other medical and surgical procedures.

Wrong conclusion. The right answer is to just stop cutting off parts of men's organs. Seriously, how sick is this culture?
