Fuck anyone who would do such a thing... I have to agree with the spirit of this.

But, wow... opens up a can of worms. Not sure what physical evidence would be around for 'forced oral sex'? Sounds like it'll come down to "he said, she said".

Also good thing in a way to add anal sex to rape. I never thought about it until now, but if a man got raped by man... it sounds like it wouldn't have been rape until now in NY.

They should re-name the law "rape is rape as long as the rapist does not have a vagina". Here is the truth, if any US official still cares about the truth:

What happened to that woman certainly was "rape" and that man deserves to die in prison for what he did.

Feminists frequently attack people for saying this, but there is a difference between holding a woman you don't know at gunpoint in an alley and force her to have oral, anal, and vaginal sex with you; and having a consensual one night stand with a friend after a party where you had been drinking, waking up the next morning and regretting it, and then claiming that consent hadn't been given by reason of intoxication.

It's ludicrious to think that those two crimes would be the "same crime" or carry the same punishment.

The woman herself seems to have the right idea, any form of sex gained by physical force, or threat of harm should be called rape, from the comments here I'm guessing the legal system has yet again excluded male victims.

I support other definitions of rape also such as drugging etc but I don't support coercion as a definition of rape, nor do I support the reversal of consent after the fact or two drunk and willing parties as rape as is popular in modern feminist mentalities. If I did 90% of people would be rapists, which would include 90% of women. With such idiotic mentalities we should all start calling sex rape and turn everyone into victims. My SO and I do this pretty often these days as a big fuck you to these kinds of feminists, she herself is a feminist.

the whole thing is 100% what affects "women." what's better for "women".

not what affects "rape victims" or victims of sexual abuse.

not to mention that what they are pushing through still ignores male victims and female perps in every feasible way.
