TL;DR: Almost every article ashpatil submits has been copied from another website onto a website he is associated with. He is a content thief that could easily submit the same content from the original site, but chooses to use Reddit to promote sites (with ads) with which he's closely associated

In full: User ashpatil is a regular contributor to MensRights. Most of his submissions come from two sites:

  • articlesaboutmen.com
  • blog.fathers4equality-australia.org

Ash Patil is the president of Fathers4Equality-Australia.org. His relationship to articlesaboutmen.com is unclear (the WHOIS is cloaked), but that website has published his original work, and its IP address is one digit different from fathers4equality-australia.org (60.241.165.147 and 60.241.165.148). I think it's reasonable to suggest they're related.

Here are his last fifteen submissions to MensRights, with the site he linked to and the site where the content was originally published:

Note that I'm not saying these articles are irrelevant. They are certainly within the boundaries of this subreddit. But they should be submitted from the creator's site and are, I suspect, infringing copyright. The people who wrote these articles deserve the credit and impressions that are going to articlesaboutmen and fathers4equality-australia.

I'm downvoting every ashpatil story that I can prove comes from another website, and I encourage you to do the same and call him out on it.
