Okay, my honest opinion: the problem is your behavior and not your girl. She is reacting to you, man. Why are you venting to her? That's what women do to men and the man is supposed to listen. Only give advice back if she asks for it, otherwise you just listen.

Also, try keeping your opinions to yourself, unless blatantly asked. You could have used a little more intellect and finess in stating your opinion that would not have caused the entire group, including your girl, to not have your back. I would try being involved with things outside of what your girl does, try having seperate lives. Just my 2 cents.

I personally don't think she is being disrespectful. She's calling you on your shit.

Kind of both. If everyone is against you she's obviously gonna side with the hivemind, that's what girls do. But when you say she does it a lot, that could be a serious problem. Having an LTR that doesn't even respect you...that's no good

1st mistake -> deer, if she disagrees with you, tell her she is also retarded, she will prolly tell you to not talk to her like that in a bitchy tone, put her in her place, smirk and leave 2nd mistake -> take SJW serious, dont do that

and yes I can understand you, you expect loyalty from your LTR, which is imo correct, they should stay loyal, I do a lot of women who defend their s.o. when they love them, that is not unnatural, besides that if she is willing to argue with you because of such an unimportant matter you should think about breaking up, if she doesnt be at your back in small cases, she will for sure be not at your back in bigger ones.

It's not alpha to deliberately provoke needless confrontations.

The people in the group agree to kick me out, no big deal its the internet, but my LTR of 9 months doesn't defend me and stays in the group.

Women seek validation. You've lowered your value with this needless confrontation. From a "biological" perspective she wouldn't "Defend" you...that's the man's "job" in nature.

Now when the girl doesn't stand up for me in a situation which is clearly not of my doing---I was flamed for standing up for transparency in a Board of Directors' conflict... or publicly supporting events I'm hosting.

In this situation go silent until it clears. Then break up.

First, only your mother has your back. No other woman in life will ever have a commitment to you that requires having your back when the world turns on you. They MAY have your back when it aligns with other goals (financial stability, raising children, social status).

Second, you can never explain your shit to an LTR.

Third, dude who pleads guilty to assault is different to dude who does something wrong and then tries to explain to his girlfriend that he didn't mean to offend people. She isn't socially tainted as choosing a boyfriend who says "retarded" and offends people when she defends him. And he's owning up to assaulting someone, not accidentally offending women.

Ok, I'm gonna go against the grain here and say that a big majority of the women I know who are madly in love with their man DO defend him in these situations.

I mean, you can't even point out obvious shit like "he doesn't have a job and he's 38 years old" and she'll be like "he's working on it and is gonna be super successful one day"...and then she'll start unfriending anyone who doesn't like her comment.

But, this might be a stage of life thing. Younger women stick with their group, older girls stick with their guy.
