It's always bizarre to me how female feminists get so bent out of shape over any depiction of violence towards women. It's like they're narcissistic enough about their sex that an attack on a fictional woman is an attack on them personally.

Seriously, how fucked in the head do you have to be to consider your own group to be crafted out of some delicate porcelain, which needs to be placed on a pedestal and exalted for simply existing?

No shit. I've known this since complaints about grand theft auto. A game where you have the option of killing everyone, regardless of sex. The only people the game actually requires you to kill are men. Yet, the game is accused of promoting violence against women.

Every single game that Anita Sarkesian claims promotes violence against women. Are open world games, where the player has the option of killing everyone.

"We demand strong female protagonists in video games! But also never depict any violence towards her because women are fragile and need to be protected!"

How do they think strong characters become strong in the first place?

It's a no-win scenario, intentionally constructed to keep non-Feminists constantly in fear of backlash over nothing and on the defensive, to break them down until they submit.

For all of those who haven't seen the trailer and don't want to watch the entire video, a woman (ringleader) orders two men to hang and torture a woman. The ringleader places a knife to her stomach. Another woman gets dragged out (perhaps trying to save the woman being hanged), spits in the ringleaders face and then has her arm bashed in with a hammer. Just as the other arm is about to be bashed in two arrows kill one of the men who drops the hammer, the girl picks it up and kills the other man with it. The ringleader then backs up and the woman being hanged chokes her with her legs until broken arm girl kills her with the hammer.

In the two articles I watched before I stopped because it was pissing me off, they never mention the men getting killed but talk about how sick this trailer is for hurting women.

Tl;dr: two men die, one woman dies while two others get hurt in a post apocalyptic game and SJW cry "oh no, look at this woman getting hurt." never mentioning the two men being killed.

They're actually causing sexism, like actual sexism, in their media with this crap.

Used to, I didn't care who the protagonist was in a video game or any form of fiction. Now, when I see a female led franchise, I expect her to be a total bore with no flaws whose opponents never actually pose a serious challenge.

I'm glad it's happening. Maybe Druckmann will learn that trying to appease these people is stupid and stop trying and get to making good games and characters again. And stop removing fun skins like Donut Drake from games.

But one of ND's concept artists is a major SJW and whispers into his ears, "well can't this character be a minority?" So I doubt it. The same woman who whined on twitter that a guy (if even a true story) jokingly wanted to "check her gaming cred" after finding out she plays games. "I make games hurrr" not really, your job is concept art. You can literally outsource this to people who don't care about games at all.

I digress.

I hope more developers who try to appeal to these people get shit on by them. In theory they'll wake up. I mean we have games where we kill 99.9% (if not 100%) men and yet they think these complaints are still valid somehow. That the industry supports violence against women... because a tiny fraction of games make it possible to harm a woman. A lot of the time it's in the story that a woman is harmed and it's shown as horrible and motivation for revenge. Yet it encourages violence against women somehow. k.

Just humans being. If you have no moral values, you value nothing but yourself. If you have to be cruel to another to justify your existence, you have no value. There is no negotiable value in good people being hunted by bad people so that some SJW can feel outraged. Build yourself. Experience the world, see others and help others in this life to grow, sacrifice your comfort for another, your spirit grows. Patience grows, emotional outbursts become less, humility blossoms.
