What I really want to know is why anyone anywhere gives a fuck what this women (she's not even a politician anymore) thinks? It's not like she's anyone with any real political power.

Sorry, this has a lot to do with men's rights. As I have said before, we need temporary (not permanent) alliance with the major parties when in our interest, much as do the European third parties to advance their own agendas. We cannot hide our heads in the political sand. Men's Views Today was right to cover it and OP to post it.

We need to make clear that we consider policy effects on MR without ideological bias (neither pro-conservative nor pro-liberal). This means:

rejecting the Clinton/leftist feminist policies and agenda
supporting the Trump/conservative rollback of extreme feminism (such as the DoE Dear Colleague letter)
rejecting the idea that opposing Clinton was inherently misogynist, etc.
supporting the conservative/Trump inclination to resist gender quotas, etc.

This also means asking why the media have been 95% negative for a male candidate but very easy on a female candidate. Thus the relevance of OP's post - the importance of asking why a feminist, female candidate was not being held to account for unethical and possible criminal bribery/collusion with a foreign government to fabricate defamatory material about one's opponent in an American election, for accepting monies from Russia to influence US uranium policy, etc.

It's similar to Janet Reno's mis-handling of the Waco and Gonzalez incidents; at a news conference, Bill Clinton dismissed any mis-handling or abuse of power issues on the grounds Reno's female, and the entire "neutral" press corps present applauded.

We need to calculate our interests and support candidates who advance those interests despite other warts they may have.
