See, I listen to this and it just makes me really sad.

I never called a girl any of those things when I was in high school or in college. Here's what pisses me off about propaganda like this: it is an unwarranted generalization. Tarring all men with the same brush used to tar assholes.

The letter mentions repeatedly how she gets so drunk that she can barely stand and how that leads to situations in which others take advantage of her drunken stupor but she never asks her father to prevent her alcohol abuse. Instead it is more important that her father somehow prevent boys and men from telling jokes that some people may find offensive.

Heavy drinking and the severe functional impairments that come with it are responsible for a great many deaths every year. Dirty jokes and insults don't have any appreciable body count.

This is an example of feminist fearmongering propaganda that runs on the narrative that rape jokes/jokes at womens expence by extension leads to rape, it also tries to fuel the idea that all men are potentional rapists and that this is exclusively an issue for women.
