In addition to the electronic home monitoring, Scott was given five years of consecutive sex offender probation and ordered not to have any contact with the student. She will also undergo an evaluation by the state Sexual Offenders Assessment Board to determine whether she meets the criteria for a sexually violent predator, which may trigger another hearing.

What really surprises me is that she got 3 months with a female victim.

And the only reason she got 23 months of home vacation is that she had a duty of care for the student. Had this been two strangers, or family friends, she'd have gotten probation.
