If you talked to me two years ago, I was a radical intersectional feminist who along with someone who was at that time my friend screamed at a boy who said sexism against men existed.

Last year, about a month into school a wave of cringe hit me. I remembered yelling at that boy and mentally slapped myself. I had partly abandoned my radical ways, however I still called myself a feminist. This was until I stumbled across anti feminist YouTubers. It took a lot of time, but I no longer identified as a feminist.

One thing I had kept with me until not long ago was stay away from the sexist, racist, homophobic MRAs. I had never interacted with MRAs before so I believed what I was told. That they hated me for being a woman and for being bi. But recently I watched the Red Pill documentary and it peaked my interest as well as changed my perspective on MRAs.

So I have a few questions I wanted to ask to help me better understand the movement.

  1. How did you become an MRA? Was there a specific event in your life that led to you joining the movement?

  2. What do you personally believe is the biggest problem facing men that the MRM is fighting?

  3. Do you see feminism as the enemy of the MRM?

  4. Do you believe the MRM can overcome the media bias and fight for its goals without being shutdown for things like claims of sexism?

  5. Would you identify yourself as someone who believes everyone is equal?

  6. Would the MRM put aside its differences with those who identify as moderate feminists to achieve their goals? Do you think they would do the same?

  7. Were you ever a feminist?

  8. How do people react when you say you’re a MRA?

I still don’t fully understand the movement so anyone who is willing to tell me about it I’d be happy is listen.
