99 years in prison for this lady. Not sure if it was posted before, but justice was served.

'Controlling' seems a bit light considering she repeatedly stabbed him, hit him with hammers and made him sleep on the floor.

Yes, women receive a fraction of the same sentence for the identical crime, but that's only because the patriarchy views women as weak and fragile. The reality is that even if a woman will get community service while her identical male counterpart has a 3-year sentence, it is the woman (and all women) who are the true victims here. #stopoppressingme

A lot of women rape little boys and never go to prison. That's if they even get convicted or charged with a crime.

That judge needs to be fired

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would say another victim of the middle class girl. Everything must revolve around them, don’t ya know.

[–]the_unseen_one 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sounds like intense abuse more than "controlling".

[–]platysoup 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

stabbed repeatedly

Isn't that straight up attempted murder at this point?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Maybe she’s too smart to go to jail.

[–]forgotagain2017 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The word is torture.

“She had also raised money children in Africa.”

I want money children. They sound great.

They all play basketball.

She's in a new relationship. That girl must suck cock like she was brought up on McDonald's milkshakes

Thumbs up to you for an awesome turn of phrase.

[–]bumapples 17 points18 points19 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Wish I could take credit for it but it's something I heard that tickled me years ago

[–]chad_hull 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

But you spread the word!

[–]a__dead__man 13 points14 points15 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

It's more like most men seem to be desperate

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not trying to blame the victim and I'm AWARE it's a double standard - but man I can't help but feel like she's more evil than your average bear, and he's more pathetic than your average bear. Bad mix.

Also, that law is scary as fuck. It's faintly new (3yrs) so not a lot has probably come out of it, but dear god, after some precedents get set, that is a loose and open law that can be molded and fucked with like a piece of play-doh.

[–][deleted] 111 points112 points113 points 8 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link

Not to be "that guy" but if a guy poured boiling water over his misses and stabbed her I don't think he'd be charged the same.

What a "victory"...

[–]Sav_ij 21 points22 points23 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah really though. Here have some mild accountability and a fraction of what a man would get for the same actions. SCORE

[–]frank_the_tank__ 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Not to mention the social repercussions from anyone that found out this happened.

[–]Merkin-Muffley 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Hard to say as this is a new law, but being jailed for seven-and-a-half years seems high enough to me, no matter the sex of the offender.

[–]WhatIsThisAccountFor -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Sex offender? This isn’t a sexual crime, she was literally torturing this man.

[–]Aelonius 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Comprehensive reading is something you have yet to learn.

[–]Championpuffa 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I dunno I know a guy who got 9 year sentence for manslaughter. He got in a fight and they both had knives on them, they both got stabbed but the other guy died from his wounds. So altogether he did 4.5 years maybe a lil less as he got out on tag/curfew after about 4 I think.

So 7 years for this seems about right in terms of what other people get for what could be considered a more serious crime. I’m assuming her sentence is 7 years so she will spend at least 3.5 years in jail or around about as in the uk your sentence is halved unless it’s one of the most serious crimes or over ten years I think.

It’s unusual for the papers to report on the amount of time she will spend inside instead of the actual sentence. It’s also only a year less than the dude I knew who unintentionally killed someone so I’d say she’s not getting off that lightly at all and got a pretty shit sentence especially if she plead guilty which it seems she did from the judges remarks. Obviously the sentence you get will depend largely on the circumstances that happen but most people tend to get around 9 years for manslaughter charges so this seems about right from the judges point of view when looking at what sentence is appropriate.

Is it just me or are women becoming more aggressive and violent?

[–]Vandal-463 89 points90 points91 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Never being held accountable will do that.

[–]14936786-02 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Unfortunately that is where we failed as men. Men today are too pussy to say anything to women and fear retaliation from even other men not just women.

It's sad. Feminism is clever, it says we are the oppressors but they oppress us.

Malcolm X said it the best, " If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing."

[–]inzyte 34 points35 points36 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Its just becoming more visible with the internet and acceptable to report abuse.

[–]14936786-0213 points 8 years ago [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

I don't know. Maybe you are right yet at the same time I feel I hear more stories of women being straight up angry, rude, aggressive, and violent lately.

I'm just so done with society and the stupid ass double standards.

[–]Merkin-Muffley 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

i agree with the poster above. I think that it's just not acceptable behavior anymore, so it gets reported more.

The woman who opened the first shelter for domestic violence has always said that she saw women abusing men at just about the same levels (feminists hate her for it). No one really cared because men were supposed to suck it up, not report it etc.

[–]AHappyCat 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You need to stop trying to fit stories like this into a narrative. If you read information about the everyday lives of men and women from the 1700s onwards, you'll see that violence between partners, cheating, stealing, hatred, it's been around for a long time.

If you take an event like this and use it to reinforce your view that women are becoming more aggressive, you aren't helping yourself or anyone else.

[–]frank_the_tank__ 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I have a feeling that guys used to fight back.

[–]randomguyguy 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Look at stop an idiot, the Russian channel about cars driving/parking where you not supposed to.

The women there are surprisingly aggressive.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

Yes.

[–]l4dlouis 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Down with the patriarchy, kill and castrate all men.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

In that order?

[–]snoopdogWORD 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

As a man, I would prefer that order...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s true, it would be more merciful that way.

[–]Nuttin_Up 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Nope, women always been violent it's just that men are talking about it more.

[–]Hwga_lurker_tw 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You could slap some sense into them back then. Therapists used to throw pills at them too by the handful.

We live in the most egalitarian age in history in respect to genders after hard fought battles for rights...and they are fucking miserable. The way SJWs act is both to remove agency and choice away from women at the same time. It's sickening watching them implode.

[–]maltygos 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

just you. like women, men keep quiet with this stuff

[–]CholoJesus 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

She’s in another relationship?!? Man, there are some thirsty dudes out there.

[–]Kenny_Twenty9 points 8 years ago [recovered] (1 child) | Copy Link

If you have the right personality she'll behave.

[–]gestures_to_penis 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

There's a lid for every pot.

[–]Sav_ij 36 points37 points38 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Notice how the article still tries to paint her in a positive light despite the fact she repeatedly assaulted and battered the poor guy? Imagine if i dumped boiling water on and beat my gf with various tools and weapons. Id be going away for more than 7 years. This isnt ppd

[–]HickSmith 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

And an article wouldn't be telling people about your degree and charity work

[–]vicious_armbar28 points 8 years ago* [recovered] (3 children) | Copy Link

Why isn't she in prison?

[–][deleted] 8 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link

[permanently deleted]

[–]jgzman 9 points10 points11 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She was sentenced. She hasn't served it yet, unless something fucky is going on with the nature of time.

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points22 points 8 years ago (11 children) | Copy Link

She is obviously fucking amazing in bed

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 8 years ago (9 children) | Copy Link

probably the type that talks dirty while you're railing her. Nearly impossible to quit that type of 22 year old.

[–]Soramente 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Jfc I nearly ruined my life for exactly some of that.

[–]Bckevindsp 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

You and me both

[–]nikhilbhavsar 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

The three of us, I feel so ashamed :(

[–]platysoup 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Four. Lucky that bitch cheated on me and I found out. Dumped her ass immediately

Almost a year later, I'm so much healthier and mentally sound.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

Oh god yes and you know she just lets you blow your load in there with no condom.

[–]blue_magoo_62 19 points20 points21 points 8 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

No shes the type of person to scold you with boiling water and hit you with hammers.

Jesus, even here, even to this piece of shit woman, youre still in awe of her holes.

[–]jgzman 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

We're trying to figure out why anyone would continue to date her after that.

Got to be something.

[–]Sav_ij 8 points9 points10 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That something is blue pilled men takibg up most of society who are willing to take what scraps they can get from any woman who isnt obese

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Totally something. Dude was getting hit with a hammer and hung in there. Must be the best hand job in the world.

[–]johnericdoe 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She was a gymnast

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points9 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This offence is so hard to use. I wonder how they did it.

[–]moospot 3 points4 points5 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Man, Fuck that bitch. Same advice for both sexes gtfo of an abusive relationship.

[–]Deathmeteor 2 points3 points4 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"Met when they were 16 at college" huh?

[–]KaiRaiUnknown 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

You finish school at 16 in the UK. College is 16-18 and uni is 18+

[–]Circle_0f_Life 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ahh ok, thanks for the info!

[–]thwml 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

A university graduate is believed to be the first woman convicted under new domestic abuse laws after scalding her boyfriend with boiling water, stabbing him and keeping food from him.

I'm pretty sure that all of those acts were crimes before this new law was passed. Stabbing somebody isn't "exerting coercive control", it's fucking assault, and in the UK that could even count as GBH.

[–]Silva_Shadow[🍰] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol women, what was that about there's never any reason to strike a woman?

[–]baldguy33 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That’s it? A restraining order? Sounds like pussy pass accepted to me

[–]johnericdoe 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

“IS NOW IN A NEW RELATIONSHIP”??

[–]BananaWilly 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Feel sorry for sick dude. Any healthy dude would have put her in the ground with those attacks. Makes you wonder about all the abuse some men take and don't react.

[–]xavier_grayson -2 points-1 points0 points 8 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I would never hit a woman and I teach my kids the same thing. But I think after putting up with this for so long, he could have thrown a few her way. It may have meant jail time for him but it’s better than the hell he was going through.

[–]Sav_ij 16 points17 points18 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Never hit a woman? How about never hit anybody unless absolutely necessary? I sometimes feel bad killing bugs but you douse me in boiling water your lifes over sure as if you took it yourself genetalia be damned

[–]frank_the_tank__ 10 points11 points12 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You should never hit anyone that is not trying to hurt you. You should not teach your kids to take gender into their consideration. Only their safety.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Fuck that. I taught my sons that if someone hits you, you hit them back. Male or female. Just because we have a vagina does not mean we are made of glass.

[–]platysoup 1 point2 points3 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I agree with you. The problem is the law doesn't.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah why are you teaching them that sexist stuff OP? How come you think women are so weak that they can't be treated equally?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 8 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Why wouldnt he just leave?

[–]SangEntar 4 points5 points6 points 8 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The same reason why women don’t leave abusive relationships. Fear, the belief that they deserve the punishment, that they can change their partner, they their partner truly loves them and there are times when they are good to them. You see it in abusers and victims of both genders.

Seems to be a pretty common occurrence, the other way round at least. It doesn't make any sense, there's just something wrong with the human mind.
