Your story keeps getting worse with each line..... I can't imagine what you are going through as I am not married nor do I have kids and after reading stories like yours I don't think I want either. That said I can tell you something about suicide from first hand experience. Don't do it. When I tried it I was young, depressed and desperate I used a blade to cut my wrist but there just wasn't enough blood so I made five cuts in total on both my wrists each deeper than the last one in hopes of ending it once and for all. Like I said I was desperate. Now, I don't glorify obesity under any circumstances but doctor did say that because of my thick skin there wasn't any severe nerve damage and I was saved. The floor of my room was covered in blood when I came back home. The scar tissue is still sensitive I can feel my nerve twitch at the slightest touch. If I had known the depression and anger and self destruction that would have followed the failed suicide attempt, I would have never considered it.

I’m so sorry. Everything you’ve described is terrible, I can’t imagine. I really wish I had some advice to give you.

I know it won’t solve the problem, but maybe look into support groups in your area? This sounds so incredibly overwhelming and you shouldn’t have to go through it alone.

If you don’t mind sharing your general location, perhaps in a linked post, maybe the readers on this sub could help you track down some resources? There are probably general groups for parents involved in custody battles, but I imagine it might be most beneficial for you to speak with men specifically, that are going through similar experiences and can truly understand. I know that might be a harder support structure to find organized resources for, maybe it would help to crowdsource it here?

I wish I had more to offer. It sounds like you’re doing everything you possibly can, and I’m so sorry everyone in the system is letting you down.
