OK, I know this isn't the usual posts that are on this subreddit, but I'm just so mad right now I need a place to vent. This story happened earlier today (I live in Hong Kong). I was sitting in science class, and as most of you probably know, Its International Women's Day. So, my teacher begins spewing this nonsense about women being disadvantaged in the STEM field and how we should all fight for equality. This however was tremendously incorrect, so I told her, "No, in the STEM field women have a 2/3 chance of being accepted into college than an equally qualified male counterpart. I also told her how the wage gap was incorrect and people should stop using it as an argument. Remember, I was citing studies as I did this. She backs out of the debate almost immediately and tells me to talk with her after class. Now, I assumed that this was going to be so that we could continue to debate this, which I was greatly prepared to do. But nope. She just wanted to tell me that I was being arrogant and that it was International Women's Day and I shouldn't have an opinion if it's insulting. I DON'T CARE IF YOUR INSULTED. FACTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS. I left and enraged stormed onto the bus and started yelling about how BS the feminist movement is now. Naturally though a bunch of stupid liberals wearing "The Future is Female" purple jackets started going off and saying that men are predators and pigs. So I started yelling at them telling them that they were being stupid and letting feelings influence their beliefs. Eventually one o the LAUGHED at me and said that their IQ dropped to the single digits, so I told her it had already been there for a while and I got off the bus. That's the end of my story. Sorry if it was a bit long. If anyone has any stories like this of their own, I will happily upvote and read.

TL:DR Teacher spews garbage and gets beaten in debate. Tells student he isn't allowed to have an opinion. On bus later the other people try to debate but get destroyed as well.
