From my experience, it does seem to affect your confidence mate. I don't have any scientific proof though. I did a little experiment for a month where I cut off all the porn and limited masturbation to strictly once a week while lifting heavy 3 x week. After the first week I was definitely more confident when approaching and talking and kino etc. With time, I became more spontaneous, more engaging and there was no brain fog. My wit was sharp and shit tests were relatively easy to spot and pass.

So yeah, I do believe it affects your game very much.

I read somewhere that abstaining increases your testosterone in the short term (say after a week) and then reaches a normal level. Can't seem to find the article now, but you should be able to find it on google. That must have helped too.

Quit porn entirely. It is for weak men. I quit PMO years ago and haven't looked back. It fucks up your dopamine sensors in your brain. I've been meaning to make a post on this for awhile. If you make the real effort to cut porn out your life will improve dramatically.

Yes it does for me. After around 7 days without fapping or looking at porn I think the animalistic drive takes over. I started approaching women who I thought I didn't even have a shot with. No hesitating either I just did it. It was this instinct that took over because I wanted to get laid. So yes it does affect you. When you watch porn and fap your dopamine levels rise and your brain thinks you had sex which makes you tired and unmotivated. So abstaining for a bit increases that.

If you are afraid of cold approaching, try semi-cold approaching. Find a hobby/activity which involves other people and you can approach them there. It'll be a bit better than cold approaching. I personally picked dance lessons.

I don't think it affect cold approach directly. But what it can affect is your will to go out and look for sex because your brain has already gotten sex.

And it can definitely affect your performance in bed.

I would suggest totally cut off porn and limit mastubration to once a week. You will have much more motivation to go out and approach and you will give much more sexual vibe.

Whenever you cut out porn / masturbation you get a new found control over your urges. I havnt nutted in a month (looking for new plates) and I have almost no approach anxiety and am a lot more confident.

Masturbation seems to be present whenever healthy habits that occupy your time are not present in abundance.

Whether masturbation in of itself is the cause or merely correlation, my opinion it's a little of both.

I find that if I do masturbate, it's often during times where I could be doing something much more productive in that time period.

You are right that there are benefits to semen retention, but it should be a natural progression towards that goal. Not forcing a round Peg through a square hole, which is what the nofap community advocates. Simply sitting there in your room chanting I will not masturbate is not enough.

Be too busy to even think about masturbating, that's the crucial step that they forget.

Porn is rewarding your brain with easy lays you didn't earn, so you don't work as hard for real ones when the urge hits. It's also addictive because it's exposing you to way more variety than most men achieve irl.
