So my wife is a teacher and has a a group of teacher friends she hangs out with and sometimes goes on trips with. It's teachers and their SOs for the most part. I've been on several trips with them and have hung out a couple times but this past year I got a job that required a lot of travel and haven't been able to make some trips or hang outs. One of the male teacher's got a girlfriend and she's been going to everything I've missed (we'll call her DK). So recently DK asked if the group would be willing to have a regular Dungeons and Dragons session. My wife informed me that this group was happening and I was welcome to join the weekly session. I was stoked because I've been trying to find a DND group for years. Anyways yesterday my wife received an email from one of her friends that she was welcome to join the game but I was dis-invited. Turns out two of the women one of which is DK aren't comfortable gaming with a guy they barely know especially since playing DND leaves you vulnerable. My wife immediately told them all to fuck off and erased their numbers and deleted them as fb friends. I'm pretty proud of her! It's just messed up that I get removed from something because 2 women aren't comfortable.
