Feminist: "We women already make a disproportionate contribution to society." therefore there should be a draft and it should be restricted to men.

The latest UK tax data are in. British women paid only 27% of all income tax. Compared to the "wage gap" of 23% that's a "tax gap" of 63%.

Is it me or has the UK become the real world testing ground for social justice experiments?

[–]Bestprofilename 20 points21 points22 points 7 years ago (26 children) | Copy Link

Where should I move to?

[–]Lethn 34 points35 points36 points 7 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

Poland or Hungary, no joke lol

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (22 children) | Copy Link

Can you justify why these countries are worth moving to?

In a few months, I have to choose my future country to migrate to for higher studies. Please, I would love to hear from you.

[–]Lethn 36 points37 points38 points 7 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Both of them are very anti-EU places and Hungary in particular has defunded feminist oriented crap in universities. The media are all pretending it's an attack on academic freedom but the reality is they've just pulled public funding for it for the most part.

Naturally because feminists rely so much on government handouts this means they're penniless. I would actually argue that if you're a student and want to study abroad a place like Hungary would probably be your best option because feminists seem to have zero influence there.

I've always thought about university myself but every time I look at how things are here in the UK and all the fucking feminists everywhere and hard left types I wouldn't last five seconds.

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (13 children) | Copy Link

Thank you so much. I will look into it.

What is the admissions process to colleges in Hungary? And are the fees very high? Any idea?

[–]antilopes 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

Eastern Europe would be very cheap I'd imagine, judging by the prevalence of eastern European women in porn.

How are your Hungarian language skills?

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Willing to learn, I do not mean to brag but living in India (the land of countless languages) I have sort of developed the ability to grasp languages easily)

[–]antilopes 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Even so, that is impressive.
I saw Hungarian is not an Indo-European language so Polish would be a better investment in that it has similarities to other slavic and European languages.

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I currently speak five languages. Three of them are Indian, but they are all distinct from each other. Also learning a sixth one right now.

[–]TheRavenousRabbit 4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Hungary is a very backwards country in other places like racism and seeing that you're indian it might not be a good choice, be careful about that, man. Worse pay, less human rights and the like. Poland, if you really want to avoid social justice, is your better choice. But they are more religious and whatnot.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Hungary is not a backwards country. It is definitely more progressive and with better living and studying standards than India and just because they didn't take in 800,000 economic migrants like the UK doesn't make them racist. Having said that, the UK is probably a better place for an Indian to study abroad as there are already a good amount of Indians there. In certain parts of the UK and some of their universities you will feel less out of place as an Indian or a Pakistani than as a white male.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

poland and hungary are also fucked, weve got it good in the UK dont give it all up because you dont like some feminists

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

I am actually in India right now. Planning on pursuing a bachelor of science with a double major in Biology and Chemistry abroad...

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I recommend any university in the UK. As an Indian you'll be assigned less blame for radfem conspiracy theories if that is one of your main concerns.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

sorry replied to the wrong dude

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Depends on what you consider "good". There are no Polish or Hungarian cities I know of with a murder rate higher than NYC. Then there is also the almost complete absence of toxic feminism and terrorist attacks in both of these countries. Every country has its downsides, some less preferable than others.

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I have no idea about any of that I'm afraid.

[–]NotTheRedSpy7 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Alright. Happy cake day, you have my gratitude!

[–]mikesteane 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Britain has the World's biggest, and probably best, distance university, the Open University. Avoid 95% of the crap that goes with a college education by taking advantage of this.

[–]Sam_Dan23 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Anything on poland?

[–]antilopes -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Once you master the pronunciation you will never get laid anywhere else in the world.

Also the German neo-Nazis probably want to invade again.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

thats some virgin shit dude, it aint that bad. suck it up and enjoy the good education and the NHS

[–]mikesteane 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

South America perhaps, a continent I have no direct experience of, but maybe others here could comment.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

South America, the continent with a higher murder rate than wartime countries. I think Argentina or Uruguay are the only relatively safe countries in the entire continent.

[–]whoAreYouToJudgeME 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hungerian is not an Indo-European language, so it might be harder to learn. If you don't speak a Slavic language already Polish might be a challenge for you as well. I don't know how prevalent English speaking courses in Polish universities though.

[–]InPaceViribus 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link

Hungarian isn’t an indo-European language. It will be more difficult to learn than polish.

[–]Bestprofilename -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Ugh eastern Europe. Poland no thanks. Any places with friendly people and a good rule of law. Also, fit girls gnome sayn

[–]TibortheChechen 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

and islamization!

[–]JewishAnomaly 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

The UK is the testing ground for essentially all introduced societal evils.

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I don't think there is any room for social justice in the cutthroat world of corporate brand marketing. They want money, honey.

A bunch of white upper class men from Oxbridge universities is not the optimum team for the work they do, they have decided.

Similarly, the industry has at various times since the 60s at least decided they need to acquire more young staff, or more people with academic knowledge, or more recent knowledge. Things change.

[–]T-reeeev 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That makes sense. The people who advertise should be able to relate with consumers. The face of consumers is changing everywhere.

[–]the_unseen_one -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Canada, the UK, France, and Germany are in a contest to see who can be the most insane progressive feminist morons possible.

[–]T-reeeev -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If the sensational news reports I've been seeing are true, France and Germany seem to be in a bigger hurry to submit to islam than feminism. I think everyone knows what happens to feminists when Islam takes over.

[–]theyshotbob 51 points52 points53 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

How is that even legal? It's blatant sexism

[–]dev_c0t0d0s0 31 points32 points33 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It is sexist against men so it is not only legal, it is encouraged.

[–]Bestoftherest222 40 points41 points42 points 7 years ago* (7 children) | Copy Link

The title should be reworked to "A top London ad agency female director fires five men to replace them with women, because men are evil."

You got to love how this female undoubtedly got to be the director because she was a gay vegan female, not on merit. She probably constantly complained the lack of female power at the top was sexist and she deserved to be the top dog. She was given the position and the first thing she does is purge the people who made the company successful.

[+]antilopes -24 points-23 points-22 points 7 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Her list of previous positions is impressive, she has had senior positions in various top companies.

She is in the London branch, the firm has 200 branches in 90 countries. Diversity is one of the core strengths being pushed by the global CEO. So "gay vegan female" and "on merit" have some overlap.

You can only do so much with a bunch of straight white men from privileged backgrounds and exclusive schools and universities, and their clients know that. The job has been identified as needing a wider pool of experience.

I think they had 12,000 staff worldwide so five men from the London office is hardly genocide. There will still be plenty of posh white men in the London office.

[–]Bestoftherest222 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Her list of previous positions is more of the same. She would complain that she is a vegan lesbian female in a power structure dominated by males. Thus she needs to be given authority, nothing else. Hell she probably accused a small army of men of sexual harassment as she "climbed" the corporate ladder. "Ree I'm a vegan female lesbian in a mans worlds, REEE sexual harresment, Ree I'm just as qualified to be the boss, Ree if I'm not the boss its because they hate VEGAS, FEMALES, LESBIANs! Ree promote me now!"

I can make this assessment because her first move as a director (the apex of her career thus far) was to purge white males. So its very easy and very accurate for me to say her past was all abut her playing the victim card and not providing merit for promotion.

Because if she did get all those nice positions from merit, she would not be the type of director that removes white men for the sake of them being white men. You see?

[+]antilopes -12 points-11 points-10 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

My understanding of why people get promoted is very different to yours.
I have never seen any of that stuff, just people who are good at doing stuff and at building a noticeable profile. Some better at the profile building than building things that work, but their rise usually stops after they get promoted beyond their competence.

[–]Consilio_et_Animis 9 points10 points11 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

You can only do so much with a bunch of straight white men from privileged backgrounds

...such as creating Western Civilisation, putting men on the moon, inventing vaccines, nuclear power stations, the motor car, the contraceptive pill, the Sistine Chapel etc etc.

[–]antilopes -3 points-2 points-1 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Indeed, privileged white men are in my white opinion the greatest wonder the human race has ever produced.

But if you want to sell cosmetics and cars and financial services to African women, or insurance to UK-born ethnic Pakistani businesspeople, white men might not be the best to work out your brand strategy.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

If they don't want a white man advertising to them, it would be counter-intuitive to live in the UK. They can always leave. I'm guessing a good portion of Pakistanis in the UK are okay with a white man selling them things like cars or insurance.

[–]antilopes -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Consumers don't know or care about the sex or ethnicity of the people who manage the brand or make the adverts. All they know is whether the adverts and brand appeal to them.

Companies buying advertisers want a company which understands their target market, which is often diverse. So they look for an ad agency which is competent in doing that. One with an image of being full of upper class straight white men has an obvious problem in both being competent, and in presenting itself as competent.

[–]MadeInBeirut13 8 points9 points10 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

She just obliterated the ad agency

[–]xNOM[S] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

...and noone will hold her accountable for it.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points12 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Is there a list of companies that use JWT? People could write to those companies and say that they won't buy their products until the sever ties with JWT or Jo Wallace resigns.

[–]antilopes 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

JWT is said to be the world's foremost brand marketing firm. It has $20 billion annual revenue, 150 years old, 200 branches in 90 countries. They are very serious about becoming more diverse.

The CEO has written about the importance of acquiring a more diverse workforce. One thing they now do is blind selection for the first level, they ask people to answer six questions to get into the first level of interviews, and do not look at their CVs until later in the process. They want to attract some people who have not been throught the academic route. Every marketing firm struggles to connect with its markets, some more than others.

The court case will be interesting. Possibly the creative director acted intemperately and the company will end up paying huge compensation. Or maybe the guys got carried away with their own rebelliousness and were fired for that.

[–]GoneMYway 7 points8 points9 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I suppose when you can't get ahead in your profession, just fire all the male competition, and call yourself a "fearless champion of female success". Because we all know THATS how you achieve success.

[–]chambertlo 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Another problematic white woman. Why won’t society open its eyes to this very real and dangerous threat?

[–]Cpt-Blackadder 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Just look at her eyes, another one with a calm yet crazy look.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

and we’ve just elected the most women to Congress ever ....

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Another reminder that anyone advocating for more diversity is likely your enemy. Their goal is to kick you out of everything they can.

[–]Rockbottom503 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

If they take this to tribunal, on the face of it, they'll win and win Big! These laws are not gender specific; it'll really all depend on whether it makes it all the way to court or if the company concerned settles the case. I suspect they'll be under immense pressure to settle with a non disclosure agreement attached but I'd certainly like for it to go to tribunal.

Corporate HQ is in the US, where the CEO is pushing diversity hard on a global scale.
