When I searched "Beating Up Annoying Feminist", there are still dozens of either reuploads or people recording themselves doing it lol It's only fair, as much violence as there is in video games on Youtube depicted against every other demographic, especially men, why should feminists be off-limits?

[–]SporkTornado 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

I haven't played red dead redemption 2 yet. But I'm pretty sure that like most other rockstar games. You have the option of killing almost everyone. Only story critical characters are safe, and they are only safe for as long as the plot requires them to live. The game only requires you to kill men, all the game's enemies are men.

[–]GunnerVee 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not too sure but kids are invincible too. And you still get punished for killing the feminist, the game doesn't tell you to do it either, you also have the option to help them instead. It's literally people being salty about how you have freedom to kill them rather than only be able to help them.

Yeah. I have GTAV and I don't remember having to kill a woman. American society has this "sensitivity" toward women and children/teens.

[–]SporkTornado 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago* (1 child) | Copy Link

In the entire GTA franchise there is only one time where you are required to kill a woman. That would be in grand theft auto 3. GTA 3 starts off with a cutscene of Claude (the player character) and his girlfriend Catalina robbing a bank together. She betrays Claude by shooting him and leaving him for dead, so she can keep all the money for herself. Claude is taken into police custody, but breaks out. Claude vows revenge, but has lost most of his contacts and resources. So he takes a job from the Italian mafia in exchange for information on Catalina's whereabouts. The objective of the game's final story mission is to blow up Catalina's helicopter as she tries to flee liberty city. That is the one and only one time in the entire GTA franchise when you have to kill a woman.

Meanwhile, in the real world. Men are the ones who deal with the actual violence... Women prove more and more each day that they're nothing more than children in adult bodies.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Meanwhile, back in the real world, men have been getting violently killed in video games for decades, and nobody bats a fucking eye.... Just another reason to not take women or any of their "issues" seriously...

In the video, the YouTube creator Shirrako's character briefly speaks with a women's-rights activist, then punches her in the face.

The video, which is just one minute and 30 seconds long, had over 1.6 million views as of this writing.

Would it be safe to assume that many out there have had unpleasant experiences with feminists?

I just got banned from TwoX for telling a fake account to kill themselves then post pics of it. Why would they do that? it was a fake novelty account. feminists are crazy.

Don't r\feminism and r\2xchromosomes auto-ban posters? I'm a little unclear as to whether they auto-ban posters subscribed to r/mensrights or posters who have simply posted here.

[–]MayaMordle 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

no autobans for subscribing as far a I know. I've been subscribed and posting in both for 20 days or so and I've even said some pretty rotten things in 2x before the ban. as far as r/feminism, I'm not sure. i don't think I've posted there before.

Thanx, I've been hearing about them, but I've never tried posting in those places so I've been guessing at the possible mechanisms.

I do recall having to unsubscribe to the donald in order to post somewhere, it may have been 2x but i reviewe my messages and couldnt find anything. but i got banned from the donald so I unsubscribed to post wherever it was. i do believe it was 2x.

I once got banned from twox because I participated too much in a subreddit from which most of their problem posters were active. I figured it was because of my participation in this sub because I had been a subscriber to twox for some time, and had just started posting here a lot.

But that was like a year ago, and now it seems that I can post here all's I want and not get banned from twox

[–]tenchineuro 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

OK, curious.

Once I was thinking of asking a question in askfeminists, but I kept hearing about men being banned for that same crime, so I decided there was probably no point to it.

[–]said_sadly_ 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

They shouldn’t be off limits. It’s only a video game ffs.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So I suppose they'd rather women be treated with the same rules as children in these games...feminists wanting women to be treated like children...must be Tuesday.

But stringing up the guy under the bridge and using his corpse for target practice is A-okay kiddo.

[+]SendMeToAPsychward -7 points-6 points-5 points 7 years ago (20 children) | Copy Link

The title was 'Punching Annoying Feminist' So yea, the ban was justifiable

[–]Lethn 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link

Would you want to see people who advocate violence against white men banned as well?

[–]Brusanan 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Committing violence in a video game is not advocating violence in real life.

[–]SendMeToAPsychward 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (16 children) | Copy Link

Yes, violence against anyone isn't ok, i never said the ban had to happen, i simply said it was justifiable. The title was probably what got him the hammer

[–]Lethn 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

At least you're reasonably consistent, the problem is these types of rules are so arbitrary they often end up banning everyone. People just support them because they think they don't have anything to be worried about then BAM they're banned for wrongthink. This sub is a classic example, it's not an exaggeration to say it's mostly made up of people who have been banned by feminists.

I think the same thing is going to happen to youtube, there will be a mass exodus at some point as everyone's favourite youtubers get banned for being too edgy on the internet.

[–]SendMeToAPsychward 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think so as well, gab.com might recieve many, but their twitter scares people off. Maybe IdubbzTV has the same idea, as with Pewdiepie. Make a brand new platform, specifically because they were to edgy for YouTube, which is now WeTube

[–]MayaMordle 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

to be fair, that particular feminist character is annoying. and he did punch her. so it's description is apt.

[–]tenchineuro 2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

to be fair, that particular feminist character is annoying.

So is Big Red. In fact, from what I've seen pretty much all campus feminists and feminist activists of all stripes (even the male ones) are extremely annoying.

[–]MayaMordle 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

we all want to punch Big Red. God, I would pay so much to see a cartoon of her being punched in the face posted on youtube. but the poor guy (or gal) who put it up would probably be banned.

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

we all want to punch Big Red.

Or at least divest her of that megaphone.

God, I would pay so much to see a cartoon of her being punched in the face posted on youtube. but the poor guy (or gal) who put it up would probably be banned.

And yet I've seen to many cartoons of women punching men. But what you say is correct.

[–]MayaMordle 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I have been really curious if there is anything that could get a woman banned for posting video game footage, where they kill men or beat men or something.

I think someone should try to get banned for doing so because it would be nearly impossible to achieve.

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Interesting experiment, but considering Reddit's ex-CEO, probably not. But there might be some gold in copyright infringement, those rules favor content producers strongly.

[–]valenin 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (7 children) | Copy Link

There's a video with a million views right now entitled 'Red Dead Redemption 2 - Finding the KKK and Killing Every Single One'.

I hate the KKK, let's have that right out in the open.

That said, there probably aren't many black or female models under those robes. That's a video (and it's not the only one, just the first one I found) celebrating killing (eradicating) a group of almost certainly white men because of what they believe in.

I haven't played the game, but I'm told the mechanics punish you for killing the sufferagette and reward you for killing the KKK.

I'm not holding my breath on that video being taken down.

[–]tenchineuro 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I know that the women's KKK was very active. But I have no idea if they wore the regulation KKK business attire.

[–]SendMeToAPsychward -1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

YouTube has double standards, everyone knows this, all I said was that the ban was justifiable. That video shouldn't be bannable, same the one we are talking about. But YouTube has a very wide grey area when it comes to harrassment or advocating for violence.

[–]CrookedHillaryShill 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link

YouTube has double standards, everyone knows this, all I said was that the ban was justifiable.

The tos is written so vaguely that they can ban you for absolutely any reason. So to say that it's justifiable, yet a double standard does not make sense.

[–]SendMeToAPsychward 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It does make sense, and its justifiable. Because its so vague, they can ban you for infringing their ToS, and turn around saying one on another race or gender does not. And you're right, they can ban you for any reason, and they can also not ban you for any reason

[–]CrookedHillaryShill 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

The point I am trying to make is that if their terms of service are openly vague, and they constantly administer double standards, then they effectively have no rules. Therefore, nothing is truly a justifiable ban.

[–]SendMeToAPsychward 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm saying that because their rules are so vague, they can do anything and say they were enforcing their ToS

[–]CrookedHillaryShill 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I certainly agree with that.

[–]Brusanan 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He's allowed to punch as many NPC men as he wants in his YouTube videos. But punching one NPC Feminist, in a video game, is a permaban from YouTube.
