I'm from/in Mexico, been here all my life, nobody gives a fuck because that's not how it works at all.

The people actually selling drugs don't get "arrested" because they hang out in red zones or zones of tolerance. And these people are never women either, unless they're already doing something like prostitution, which is still tolerated in red zones anyway.

"Drug lords" don't "use" anyone, there are several levels of insulation between them and street level guys. The mid level guys have some level of control as to who the street level guys are, but the actual proper narco leaders have zero control of it, that's the point, for it to be layered, for everyone's protection. I actually personally know several mid level guys but I've never met any of the narco leaders, nor would I want to....

Anyway bonus points for being too stupid to realize that all drugs including cocaine, heroine, meth and marijuana , are already decriminalized in Mexico. Even selling them isn't a crime as long as you do it to adults. The crime is stockpiling them or moving enormous amounts.
