I'm a woman and my ex-husband sued me for alimony, half my retirement, and the house. He also managed to stay in the house, sold all our 18 years worth of things, including trying to sell my dog and give away my cats. The police did nothing.

He got the house even after admitting he got another woman pregnant.

Tell me again how unfair it is to men?

Last I looked for the US stats show about 8% pay alimony. TRP acts like its 90% that do, men are 'divorce raped' paying all this alimony, etc. The laws are actually equal, it just depends on the marriage.

Also the recently divorced people I know the women paid out big. Two the of men cheated.

No, and I don't know of any woman who got alimony after a divorce, personally. The only thing was child support but only if they got full custody or most of the custody. If you talk to a lawyer they say it's just a division of assets whenever you get a divorce. Since both men and women work these days, you're really not losing anything, if say you sell the house and split the money.

Different states have different laws, however and if someone is a stay at home parent or homemaker and they were married for a certain number of years, they are still entitled to a certain amount of assets as well as possible alimony, which is supposed to help them in the interim so they can get a job and become self supportive.

Back then when premarital sex was a taboo getting married was the precondition for having intimacy. So men had to marry if they wanted sex and kids. Now this is not the case any more thanks to sexual revolution. Marriage literally useless these days, it is just a status thing.

Alimony isn't even that common. It's rewarded in something like 10% of divorces, and even then it's not always lifetime payments. It's like one one lump sum or a number of payments for x amount of years.

Redpill guys worry their heads off about something that rarely happens.

Besides, if you never want to pay alimony, marry someone who can also support themselves.

Divorce laws are as fair as they can be. If you have kids you will pay support. If your wife does not work you will pay allimony. You are not giving her your money, you are giving her the money that belongs to her. Think with your head and not your dick and you will be fine.

Yes, it is. Women initiate divorce most times, they often are either not working or working for less money so they will win more in case of a 50/50 split.
