Person A works 60 hours a week in a high paying job.
Person B works 20 hours a week in a low paying job.

Person A, earns more than person B; because, person A works longer hours in a higher paying job.

Here's the twist: Person A is a woman who works in real estate, person B is a man who works as a cleaner at Walmart. Is person B discriminated against because he is a man: or, is he simply earning less because he works less hours in a lower paying job?

I wonder how they calculated that in France. I mean, even the French must have hard time knowing what the world is like in ten years, let alone in 1 000.

Anyway, there is no inevitable trend that will lead to equal earnings between men and women, no more than between old and young, short and tall, city dwellers and rural folk, left-handed and right-handed, or any other two groups that aren't perfectly identical or identically perfect.
