There's a lot that could be said about this meme, from both angles, but people are immediately only offended for women.

It seems like a lot of people are sexist in how in how they interpret sexism.

It reminds me of the Hillary Clinton comment about wives and mothers being the primary victims of war. I'd take "war is bad for everyone, including women" as a valid statement. But people often go a step further and completely erase or censor the suffering of men. Which I think is itself sexist towards men.
