Looks like we’re going to be fighting over the house and kids. I have a job where I’m away from home about 10 days/month (and no other duties), but when she starts working full time she’ll be M-F 8-6. As it stands she works on a contract basis a few days per week now.

I have video of her physically assaulting me and screaming rage attacks, plus my child has told his counselor about her emotionally abusive behavior. I have a detailed log going back about 10 months of her behavior toward me and one child in particular. Audio and video and my kid’s conversation with the counselor backs all this up.

She’s asking for her lawyers fees but she makes good money and has zero expenses.

Depends on your situation. In my case my wife initiated the temp orders to get money from me. If your fighting over finances this is a good chance to impute income but you must be prepared with vocational expert. If it’s regarding custody it’s more complicated and you should try to get 50% up front. If you think she’ll fight you or try to keep your kids away fight for equal custody.

We need a little more info. Do you all have kids? Assets? Does she work? Do you work?
