We're both students/work together.

when in our conversation hair was mentioned then one thing led to another, I said how I wouldn't eat my hair because that'd be weird and I'm not a weird guy at all (jokingly)

And she said "you are weird" but not like in serious or hostile tone, in fact we're pretty chill, but she likes to mock me / tease me from time to time.

What could have been a good rebuttal to that? I'm Asian-American, engineering student, fit, but really bad at talking to girls, so they think I'm shy nerd.
