It wasn’t revenge it was a must- after 3 years of marriage she left me for a family friend- I was in the worst place of my life. Went from 290 to 245 and packed muscle. I’m still hurt and I’m still fighting through the depression.

You're on the right path. There is no easy way forward, you just have to keep going. Take care of yourself (cut out the alcohol, drugs and fast food). Excercise is critical. Get on meds if you feel like you can't cope and avoid sleeping too much or rotting on tbe couch. Be kind to yourself and eliminate negative people from your life. As my friend said, it's just a "new chapter". It took me 4 yeaes to move on and get my mojo back. (I struggled with deep depression, arrests for violating Orders of Protection, jail time, a visit to a mental hospital and even electric shock therapy. I filed for bankruptcy, lost all my savings and retirement, my house, my car, my job and my friends and family.) Never give up.

I can relate to the double betrayal. If you're willing to be flexible in your perspective... you are better off with this absolute end - as painful and gut-wrenching as I know it is.

Good riddance - they deserve each other, and will likely find a similar misery that they brought you, as this is what miserable people do to eachother. She's gone and is his problem now. Go no-contact for both of the miserable assholes - they don't exist to you anymore.

Find peace in your continuous self-improvement. You are the prize.
