From the link below, i understand that tax law was changed in 2019 (TCJA) such that there is no tax deduction benefit for paying child support or alimony. Taxes are now paid pre-transfer.

1) So what numbers or how do I estimate the impact of this when negotiating spousal support?
2) What is used to estimate the "marital standard" of living? Adjusted gross or effective taxable income?
