I don't want to be mean, but if you compare the whole female population based on TwoXChromosomes, you will surely go mad. I have only ever met one girl like this, and she wasn't that bad at all once we went to college.

But yeah, there are people who are like this in real life and they are pretty shitty. If all woman were like this, i don't think there would be a dating crises, but rather the age that people settle down/get married at will just skyrocket. They will become desperate and hopefully grow up when that happens.

Otherwise, for the guys, if you are in your early 20's, don't worry too much about these people. Confidence is the mindset that everything will be okay one day. If you truely believe this, you will not be afraid to ask someone out, and it'll be no big deal if you get rejected. Focus on yourself, build skills, build your body, make yourself attractive and find some hobbies. Do what is meaningful, not what is expedient. This doesn't mean that your shouldn't ask someone out, but when you are in your 20's it tends to be something that really bothers people and it distracts and upsets people. Your main focus should be improving yourself.

For the gals, if you causally browse this sub, i am pretty sure you are not like those TwoXChromosomers. The thing about confidence and focusing on yourself and doing your best to improve yourself applies to you too. But i think something that is a bit more important is independence. The one thing i agree on with feminists(and which has been with it since the very beginning) is the idea that woman should be independent. You should be able to get along without anyone's help. Don't rely on dates to get food, don't rely on your parents paying for your rent, etc. If your have this down, awesome.

And for everyone in general, avoid subs like TwoXChromosomes. You will go mad, and i am sure if you go out into the real world and not some dating app, you will see the world is better than it seems. Ideally just completely drop social media. Anything important and relevant(like Covid-19) will eventually reach you.
