I was able to get 50/50 custody of my two kids, aged 6 and 9 at the time. How?

At trial I explained how good of a dad I am. I knew all of their friends names, their problems, their struggles and successes. And I explained how I could take care of them 50% of them time.

And then I said “oh yeah, my exwife has a recent conviction for FELONY DUI because the kids were in the car when she crashed while driving high as a kite on prescription drugs.” My exwife had tried to hide that tidbit from the court.

And with that I was able to get 50/50 custody.

I was ready to battle but their mom realized she'd rather party then deal w kids... gave me full custody. I know it's rare but that's my story. 11 years later and w relocation these kids have a good life now w zero contact w mom bc she is a narcissist
