Was walking with 3 of my mates last night when we ended up being behind a large group of about 10 girls, we are all underage and they are most bigger than us in size but they started turned around and shouting back please don’t rob us. They then stopped and tried to full on accuse us of following them and said we were getting let in front so we don’t rape them. We walked in front to slurs of men are rapist(were not even men yet I’m still a teenager. and them asking us our age, and shouting about how women have it harder in society so this somehow justify their actions. They were relatively drunk but it was the start of the night, and regardless it wouldn’t be an excuse for their behaviour. It was like catcalling but instead being called a slur instead of a compliment, we can’t even walk on the same path as a women in this day age without being thought of as a rapist. I feel like women are being corrupted at a young age to think men are evil you got 13/14 year old girls who genuinely have a hatred for men stemmed by their boyfriend cheating on them or how sexist society is. Women 100 years ago were stereotyped heavily and it was societally acceptable but who’s more stereotyped now? The sad thing is this is just the tip of the iceberg in inequality’s against men, i didn’t mention any against women as that is a heavily discussed topic, we even have feminism a whole movement centred around it. it says it creates equality between men and women but only help in scenarios were women are treated unfavourably they don’t go around fixing mens issues and inequalities, and regardless even if a baby dies in parents care the guy usually gets the bigger sentence even though a mum is seen as the primary care giver(a big reason why they keep the kids in court) the law system is a reflection of one’s society.
