Much of it basically just incels using humor and exaggeration to cope with their situation. Incels don't just humorously depreciate women, but also themselves. That's why they use terms such as ricecel, mentalcel, mayocel, framecel, wristcel, etc. to describe themselves.

Some incels claim that most men are incels and that all women—including lesbians and married women—are having sex with Chad, and that's obviously false. But as a coping mechanism, it's not an unhelpful belief to adopt because it's comforting to imagine that most men are in the same miserable situation.

Incels will take highly depressing facts, such as that dogs and other pets receive far more affection from women than they ever will, and then exaggerate them to the most ridiculous degree possible for humorous effect by claiming, for example, that most women are not just cuddling with their pets, but actually having sex with them too.

A lot of people take these kinds of edgy claims at face value and conclude that incels are delusional, failing to understand that they are exaggerations of kernels of blackpilled truth.

There is clearly a core of truth to blackpill ideology. There have always been men who due to a combination of bad genetics and being undesirable to women, failed to reproduce or attract a partner and died involuntarily celibate.

It's a statistical inevitability that some men, i.e incels, will die alone without having ever been able to attract a partner. Whether or not every single incel is destined for that fate is debatable, and so are some other blackpill claims, but there is no doubt that many incels will die alone.
